They chose the name Cheelin because it refers to imaginary creatures like dragons and also means “lucky stars”. Toted as one of the best Chinese restaurants in Halifax, there are almost one hundred items on the menu. House recommendations include Woo Xiang Haddock, haddock in Chinese five-spice sauce, and double cooked pork. The menu also has a large assortment of vegetarian items. Friday and Saturday all-you-can-eat buffets run from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and are very affordable at $12.95 per person.
